The flowers can be any size - some of the shops will happy to display big and bold ones, whilst others may prefer something more discreet in the corner, so please feel free to be as imaginative as possible.
A few points to consider...
It will be much easier to persuade the shops to display the flowers if they come 'ready for display' ie. securely attached to their stem(s) and preferably in a 'vase' if you are submitting a bunch. This needn't be a real vase - maybe a cut down soft drink bottle weighted down with some pebbles or glass beads. Or perhaps a clay flowerpot filled with Oasis foam or similar?
Please also bear in mind that the flowers have to be transported/ delivered to the shops so please pack them carefully in some sort of box and make sure it is labelled clearly with the name of the group or individuals and a contact telephone number or e-mail address. We intend to place an acknowledgement card next to each arrangement in the shops so the name of the group or individuals who made them is essential.
The flowers will be available for you to collect at a later date (yet to be decided) but if not collected then, they will be disposed of.
