Tulip Planting Display

At the Tulip and Daffodil weekend at RHS Harlow Carr on 2nd & 3rd May, visitors could see a lovely display of photographs showing children from Rossett Acre Primary School's Gardening Club enjoying planting and nurturing 100 tulip bulbs that were donated to them by Teresa Clements from the Wakefield and North of England Tulip Society.
In November 2025, Teresa Clements, who is also a plot holder at Harlow Hill Allotments, donated 100 tulip bulbs to the Gardening Club at Rossett Acre Primary School. The children carefully planted the bulbs in pots, watered them when needed and watched them develop into beautiful blooms. Jenny Robinson, who organises the Gardening Club, photographed the process. A wonderful display was compiled for visitors to enjoy in the Learning Centre at RHS Harlow Carr at the Tulip and Daffodil weekend. The children were rightly very proud of the results.
