Harrogate West Park Stray
01 Jan 2020
For the first time in 40 years Harrogate in Bloom has chosen not to enter the In Bloom competitions. Due to the current poor state of the West Park Stray it would be embarassing to showcase Harrogate with the Stray in its present condition.
We look forward to having a much improved Stray in 2021 in order to showcase the town at its best. Meanwhile we are working with all the community groups and independent retailers to make Harrogate better. Details of local competitions will be on this website in May 2020.

June has been a disappointment weatherwise but nothing lifts the spirits like a glass of wine. So that’s what a group of us from Team Harrogate enjoyed as we got together to finalise plans for our Britain in Bloom entry. A big thank you to Andy of Harrogate Fine Wines on Montpellier Street who hosted us in his wine tasting room. Montpellier is a beautiful part of town with lovely shops and restaurants. Do pop into see Andy and pick up a leaflet about upcoming wine tasting events.
